Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment, including daily systems inspections of mechanical and electrical components to include but not limited to material handling equipment, powered equipment and physical building structures. Pay is based off experience.

• Ensure all equipment and systems used in the warehouse including conveyor systems, automated storage, and retrieval system (ASRS), and facilities perform optimally to meet the company’s nightly production and shipping goals
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair efficiently all mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and electrical equipment and devices used in Material Handling Systems and Facilities
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and systems and update required documentation and repair logs
• Assemble and install equipment, cabinetry, appliances, and furniture
• Maintain parts inventory and order parts as needed
• Attend shop meetings and utilize/maintain personal tools
• Utilize specifications, technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams as needed to resolve equipment issues
• Ensure a safe working environment adhering to OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and procedures

This is a travel position; hours will vary per project location. We work in all 50 states, must have valid ID to travel. Pay is based off experience. • Emergency repairs

• Provide daily/weekly updates to building management as well as SJI Leadership.
• Process management and Repair performance management.
• Facilitation of day-to-day support for the sites Operations Team to include by not limited to:
• System Performance and Downtime Reporting provided to the Site Leadership.
• Collaborates with internal and external business partners.
• Models and fosters a positive working culture of inclusion.
• Adheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
• Ensures completion of Work Orders, Repairs, Preventative Maintenance and Records within the CMMS tool.
• Responsible for making decisions for daily facilities support, equipment availability and safety related needs in partnership with Operations.
• P&L responsibility for Repairs and Maintenance, Equipment Rentals and Waste Disposals.
• Capital Project support to include collaboration with Operations on site needs, planning, budgeting and project execution.
• Coordination and management of vendors and contractors.
• Responsible for being a subject matter expert within Facilities and providing recommendations for improvements.
• Diagnose Mechanical and Electrical systems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electrical/mechanical schematics), and diagnostic tools.
• Oversees all outside contractors used for specialty projects.
